A short history.
It was summer 2014 when a group of professional opera singers from various parts of Italy came together for the first time to stage the opera “L’ Amico Fritz” by Pietro Mascagni.
These artists, all highly experienced, decided as a result of the success they achieved to form a permanent Opera Company, choosing a name that had special significance for them: Compagnia Lirica de “Gli Amici di Fritz”
Several years after its formation, the Company continues to stage various masterpieces, especially those of Rossini.
A few members of the Company, the baritone Alan Rizzetti, the mezzosoprano Paola Cacciatori and the bass Fulvio Bussano, decided to make concrete their shared wish to spread, promote and give value to the musical heritage with specific reference to opera, not only in the great opera houses.
So in March 2017, in honour of the maestro Mascagni and his opera “L’amico Fritz”, Alan, Paola and Fulvio founded and launched the CULTURAL ASSOCIATION “GLI AMICI DI FRITZ”.
